A Warsaw man was transported by Lutheran EMS to a nearby hospital after his motorcycle went off the roadway.
KOSCIUSKO — A Warsaw man was transported by Lutheran EMS to a nearby hospital after his motorcycle went off the roadway.
Vance D. Brooke, 18, Warsaw, was operating a 2007 Honda Shadow when he went off the right side of the road as he was driving on a curve.
Once Brooke was off the roadway, he went into a ditch. Brooke attempted to crawl from the ditch but could not due to back pain.
Brooke was in the ditch for about 20 minutes until a family member located him and reported the crash.
Brooke and the motorcycle were not visible from the roadway. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw firefighters, and Lutheran EMS.
