Kosciusko
Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 2:23 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 9300 block of West CR 1200N, Nappanee. Police responded to the Joseph Hochstetler residence to investigate the theft of two bicycles. Taken was a Giant Flourish ladies bicycle with black bags and lights, valued at $500; and a Giant Cypress men’s bicycle with a wire basket, valued at $500.
- 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 10600 block of North SR 13, Syracuse. Police responded to South Shore Golf Course to investigate the break-in of the golf course’s maintenance shed.
- 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2100 block of South SR 13, Pierceton. Police responded to the Speedway to investigate an attempted theft of a USB converter. Value: $22.
- 2:43 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 1300 block of East CR 700S, Claypool. Police responded to the Eddy Tridle residence to investigate the theft of meat from a refrigerator.
- 4:12 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 11600 block of North Elm Grove Drive, Syracuse. Police responded to the Michelle Noetzel residence to investigate a report of criminal mischief. Damage was done to a Mr. Buddy heater. Value: $100.
- 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 100 block of EMS B43 Lane, Leesburg. Police responded to the Scott Hetrick residence to investigate a report of fraud involving unauthorized money orders. Damage: $2,600.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 7:49 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 900 block of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Police responded to the Patricia Sanchez residence to investigate a report of criminal mischief. A window was broken. Damage: $100.
- 12:13 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 600 block East Clark Street, Warsaw. Daniel Eugene King reported theft of a vehicle valued at $14,000.
- 2:10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 500 block East Market Street, Warsaw. A hit and run incident was reported.
- 12:24 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2400 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Clark Calhoun residence to investigate a lost gold and diamond ring. Value: $1,500.
- 5:07 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Police responded to Walmart to investigate the theft of a mattress. Value: $99.
Winona Lake
Officers from the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 6:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 1600 block of South Packerton Road, Winona Lake. Police responded to the First Baptist Church to investigate the theft of $949.
